Pickling Bell Peppers

Pickled bell peppers are a delightful culinary treat that combines the crisp, vibrant essence of fresh bell peppers with the tanginess of pickling. Bursting with flavor, these bell peppers offer a nice crunch and acidity to any salad.

Recipe:

  1. Chop a bell pepper

  2. Chop some green onions

  3. Chop some garlic

  4. Add the bell pepper, green onions, and garlic to a mason jar

  5. Heat 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1/2 cup of water in a saucepan on the stove

  6. Add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns

  7. Stir until dissolved

  8. Heat until solution is bubbling

  9. Take off heat and let cool

  10. Pour into mason jar

  11. Put into refrigerator

  12. Enjoy!
