Pickling Bell Peppers
Pickled bell peppers are a delightful culinary treat that combines the crisp, vibrant essence of fresh bell peppers with the tanginess of pickling. Bursting with flavor, these bell peppers offer a nice crunch and acidity to any salad.
Recipe:
Chop a bell pepper
Chop some green onions
Chop some garlic
Add the bell pepper, green onions, and garlic to a mason jar
Heat 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1/2 cup of water in a saucepan on the stove
Add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns
Stir until dissolved
Heat until solution is bubbling
Take off heat and let cool
Pour into mason jar
Put into refrigerator
