Green Onion Pickles
The versatility of pickled green onions makes them a really good condiment. They provide a delightful tanginess and crunch to a wide variety of dishes. Recipe:
Chop up green onions
Place in mason jar
Put a 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1/2 cup of water in to a saucepan
Turn on the heat
Add 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 table spoon of sugar
Stir until dissolved
Turn off heat and let the solution cool
Pour the solution into the mason jar with the green onions
