Green Onion Pickles

The versatility of pickled green onions makes them a really good condiment. They provide a delightful tanginess and crunch to a wide variety of dishes. Recipe:

  1. Chop up green onions

  2. Place in mason jar

  3. Put a 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1/2 cup of water in to a saucepan

  4. Turn on the heat

  5. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 table spoon of sugar

  6. Stir until dissolved

  7. Turn off heat and let the solution cool

  8. Pour the solution into the mason jar with the green onions
